Thank you very much for the recognition, leadership, mind-blowing training and incredible tools within MLSP. I couldn’t have gotten to where I am today without this system.

Here’s the short version of my story…

When I started my network marketing business (offline) over 4 years ago, I was determined to make it work. I did everything my upline taught me to do. I attended the hotel meetings across the country. I bugged my family and friends until they got sick of me going on and on. I spent every penny to succeed but I failed miserably.

I realized that the marketing methods that I was using to promote my business were no longer effective. And, I thought there had to be a better way.

So, in the spring of 2009, I turned to the internet, determined to find solutions. I came across MLSP and it gave me a different perspective on how I should be marketing my business. Joining MLSP was the best decision ever. It was exactly what I was looking for.

As I didn’t have any online marketing experience at all, I had to get the right marketing training to cut my learning curve in half and create success in no time.

So, I put the pedal to the metal, so to speak. I became a student and followed the cutting-edge marketing and mindset training that MLSP continues to provide. Most importantly, I implemented the new skills I was acquiring, in my own business.

In no time, I started seeing great results, generating leads, getting sign-ups, making sales and grabbing top spots in the search engines on several keywords!

I started having FUN building my business, rather than trying to convince people to join or buy from me.

Today, I’m the master of my own business. I’m now a highly sought after, top blogger (voted #2 in the Top 50 MLM Blogs 2011) and Attraction Marketing expert, who took massive and consistent action to build a wildly successful blog and business.

I love working from the comfort of my home while being able to raise my two beautiful daughters. I’m really grateful for this amazing opportunity – to be able to spend quality time with my family and to have the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, while MLSP generates commissions for me on auto pilot.

In September 2010 I was about ready to give up on Network Marketing.

I had struggled for two months in the offline world, spent my money on advertising that didn’t work, burned out my warm market and was at the end of my maternity leave. Dean and I joined our primary NM company in October 2010. We stumbled around in the dark clueless about how to build this business for several months. Then we found MLSP. We are on the morning wake up calls every day and rarely miss a training webinar. We attended LTD2 and Dean participated in the Monday Workshop Intensive.

The morning wake up calls help keep us focused on our work and in touch with our online marketing community. This is so important because it can be easy to feel isolated when you work from home. It only takes 20-30 minutes of our time each day to get more value, support and encouragement than most network marketers are able to get in an entire week. Plus, I get more blog post ideas from that call than anywhere else.

We’re such regulars on the call that many people in the community know Dean as “Dean from Atlanta”. At LTD2 several people knew who we were because they recognized “Dean from Atlanta’s” voice and they came up to introduce themselves in person. How cool is that? I would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to be on these calls. Not only will you get value from the talk, but you’ll get exposure in the form of lots of people getting to know who you are. That’s key in building your network of contacts.

Since joining MLSP here’s what we’ve discovered: it is so much more than just a marketing system. It’s a community of marketing professionals providing support, resources, encouragement, tools and training. The members of this community are here to help each other out. We can’t tell you how many times we’ve needed some kind of help and a member has just stepped up to do whatever they can. And this without asking for anything in return.

We love that we’re able to be a part of a community where we’re able to both give and receive the support we need. And the training from MLSP itself is off-the-charts fantastic.

The quality of the people we have met inside the MLSP community, the friends we’ve made, the relationships we’ve developed have been worth the cost of the membership alone.

Building a business together as a couple is such a rewarding experience. We’re able to provide support, encouragement and accountability to each other. We call it our very own mastermind group. We work together naturally and comfortably. This is true with our business, our children and our personal relationship.

We truly are “Living the Dream as a Team”. That’s the tag line on our blog.

I could go on forever about how much we love MLSP. By the way, we’ve set it as a goal this year to make L3 by the end of June. Others have done it. Why not us?

Febisola David Kingdom was born into a Christian, Nigerian, home March 20, 1991. Before his birth his family came to the United Kingdom to make a better life for themselves and their families. Febisola’s father was a hard working man that provided for his family while his mother was faithful at home to raise Febisola and his two siblings.

As a little boy Febisola was often drawn to watching the children in the streets of Hackney play soccer. He’d watch them and yearned for the day he’d be able to play with them and then at the age of 4 his dream was fulfilled, and he quickly fell in love with the sport.

His family wasn’t wealthy and had limitations due to living pay-check to pay-check. One of the luxuries they could not afford was a soccer ball and like most children, Febisola made due with what he had and found contentment in kicking large stones or acorns along the road as he’d walk to school each day.

In high school, Febisola was known to be rowdy and a trouble maker. He was gifted in soccer and all he wanted to do was be a professional soccer player. School provided the means for his dream to come true but it was a hassle and burden to Febisola. In school, his love for the game grew stronger and deeper, but with his attention solely focused on soccer this caused problems among his peers.

Febisola struggles caused him to quit school more than once and even got expelled over 5 times, but after going in and out of three different schools during his teenage years, he finally finished at the age of 17 and received a certificate upon his graduation.

People said that he wasn’t going to achieve his dreams and that he was not good enough for anything. He was supposed to go to school, get a J.O.B. and by default be a success. Febisola couldn’t understand why they wanted him to forget his dreams of being a professional soccer player but Febisola was getting older and he wanted to make it happen. He didn’t want to continue to the university. He just wanted to play professional soccer, and now Febisola was beginning his journey to learn the responsibilities surrounding becoming a professional. It was fun to play soccer BUT to do that he needed money. He wasn’t in school anymore, so he had to make his own way to becoming a professional soccer play. He needed to get out on his own and he needed cash.

Not knowing anything else, he decided to join the work force, finding a j.o.b. at the local Pound Stretchers (aka A Dollar Store). While at work he envisioned himself playing soccer in stadiums with crowds cheering. His passion to play was growing even more and he longed to play for Manchester United. Febisola wondered why he couldn’t shake his dream of being a professional soccer player, with so many obstacles that had come his way, “why?” Febisola started to pursue the answer.

Febisola David Kingdom Pursues his Dream

He started ask people what their dreams where and then asked if they achieved it. To his surprise with all the passion people had for their dreams Febisola found that most people had given up on them. “Why?” he wondered. They could be so happy… This was so sad.

People are either rich or poor. Febisola knew he needed money to attain and achieve his dreams and so he asked himself, “How can you be a billionaire, if you don’t have the mind of one?”

He jumped onto the computer and typed into the search box “Make Money Online” and found Global Domain International with Davano Hunter who at 18 year old was making $5,000-$7,000 a month online. This amazed Febisola.

Febisola was 18 and had just picked up the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki. Upon reading he learned how the rich don’t pay taxes, like the poor do, and vowed he would never get a job again.

During this time Febisola was on a semi-pro soccer team and one night after practice he didn’t have a ride home. It was 11:00pm at night. He had no money for a taxi and so he headed home-ward on foot. A man in a four passenger vehicle stopped and when Febisola asked the man for a ride he said, “I’m not a taxi driver, am I?” and to Febisola’s shock drove away. Febisola was stunned at the cold heartedness of the man. Here he was freezing, walking in the night. He realized how helpless he was without money. He dropped his duffle bag and determined enough was enough. He was going to stop playing and become financial free, so he could have what he needed to achieve his dreams and purpose in life.

In March 2011 he was introduced to a network marketing company. All he heard was ‘instant pay’ and Febisola knew that’s what he wanted and needed. He wanted to experience entrepreneurial freedom, so he took action and has since become a Leader in the company.

In August 2011 he was introduced to a company called MyLeadSystemPRO (MLSP) that is set up as a residual affiliate program which provides internet marketing training and resources for network marketers desiring to take their business online and generate massive leads. To date, Febisola has a rapidly growing team and has been invited to join one of the top two prestigious leadership groups within MLSP, known as The Master Marketers, where his great spirit and drive will help lead the course for many.

For the past nine months Febisola’s online adventures have really paid off. He is now making full-time residual pay from his online marketing efforts. He’s learned the value of investing in himself and reinvesting in others.

Is Facebook EdgeRank defeating your Fanpage Efforts?

Back in the day when you posted a status update on your Facebook Fanpage your fans saw it in their news feed. Yes, it was that easy. Now…sorry to say for many Facebook Fan page owners we now must compete and over come the Facebook EdgeRank formula.
Why should a person with a Facebook Fan page care about the Facebook EdgeRank?

Because if you are looking to interact and engage with your fans, most likely they are not even seeing your status updates. Yep, bummer…..

Facebook takes all the stories and they find the story with the highest Facebook EdgeRank score and guess what? If your story is ranked high through the Facebook EdgeRank process it will show up in your fan’s news feed. Then Facebook will look for the next highest EdgeRank and show that story and so on. Awesome for those who can rank high on their status updates but bad news for those who rank low because now their posts will not be shown to their fans.

Hmmmm….So, you have 2376 friends on Facebook but you are only seeing about 50 of them showing up in your news feed. No, those friends that you don’t see didn’t stop posting and chances are they are posting, but you aren’t seeing it. Why? Two words Facebook EdgeRank.

For businesses who own a Facebook fan page you might find that the Facebook EdgeRank is holding you back.
Let’s Define Facebook EdgeRank

If you don’t know what EdgeRank is then you better listen up if you plan of getting exposure to your Facebook Fan page. Put in simple terms, Facebook EdgeRank are “objects” which are status updates, like links, photos, videos, or anything else that you can share on Facebook.

When you or someone else creates a status update they are creating what Facebook calls an “Edge”.

Every “object” receives a Facebook ranking, aka Facebook EdgeRank, which determines if it will show in your personal news feed. So, if you are a business, you will WANT your “objects” to have a high Facebook EdgeRank, if you want the “object” to appear in your fan’s “Top News” feed. The bad news…”objects” with a lowFacebook EdgeRank will not.

An object’s Facebook EdgeRank is based on three factors:

affinity or the relationship between the creator and user
interaction with the object (likes, comments, etc.)
time

Facebook creates a formula with those three factors above (which Facebook only knows the formula) and that is how Facebook EdgeRank is created.

Every “object” is scored based on the individual.
Explain the 3 Factors of Facebook EdgeRank, PLEASE

#1 Affinity Score

Basically an update or the “object” that is posted is given an affinity score, which is based on the interactions you have with the friend or fan who published the “object”. So, if you interact more with a Facebook Fan page or a friend more often than say Mrs. X (your other friend) then you will receive a higher affinity score with that person. Each time you visit a fan page, click the “Like” button, comment on a user’s status or look at a picture, you increase the affinity score you have with that “user”.

Let me make a point here, you can’t increase the affinity score of your own posts by just interacting more with someone that you want to see your posts showing up more on their news feed. Though it will increase the likelihood of you seeing their posts more often, but it won’t be increasing your posts to their news feed. It’s a one way street basically.

#2 Level of Interaction

Each interaction is weighted differently on Facebook. The higher the engagement the higher the score. For example just “liking” a post won’t create a higher level of interaction as commenting on the post would. Commenting requires a higher level of engagement therefore, Facebook will consider that a higher level interaction and the likely hood of you seeing more updates from that particular person is higher due to the Facebook EdgeRank score.

#3 Time

Yesterday’s news is just that yesterday’s news and who wants to read that? We want fresh news! Therefore, newer objects are weighed more heavily than older ones which gives that person’s “object” a better chance of showing up in the news feed.

It’s important to understand these 3 elements if you want to improve the likelihood of your business “objects” from your Facebook Fan page showing up on your fan’s news feed.
How to improve your Facebook EdgeRank

#1: Post Objects That Encourage Interaction

You want to post objects that will encourage interaction through comments. Just simply saying, “I’m tired” does not encourage interaction but, saying “Who else has had an exhausting week and tell me why?” creates a “buzz” to answer and engage with that “object”.

Remember to always create status updates that will create a discussion. Try questions, using the questions option. See example below:

You can even ask controversial questions or even post a controversial picture. People love to express their point of views and opinions. Bottom line is, this makes your update engaging and now your Facebook EdgeRank will be increasing with that user.

#2: Improve Your Facebook EdgeRank Through Photos and Videos

If you post a video or a photo, the thumbnail will show up in the Facebook news Feed. Notice lately how they are a lot bigger? Well, that will get people’s attention and who can overlook a video of picture if it appears interesting. Therefore, if you post a video or photo, ask a question under the “object” or write something that warrants engagement.

This example below was a 60 inch plasma 3D television we won through MLSP, which created a ton of engagement.

#3: Improve Your Facebook EdgeRank by Sharing Links

Post links because the link requires an action, click to get to the other side. You can also share good content from other resources too. Don’t just post the link, be sure to tell why you are posting the link and why your fans or friends should check it out. This will increase the engagement on that particular post.

#4: Improve Your Facebook EdgeRank by Keeping it Fresh

You are probably connected to over 1000 people and you need to remember the Facebook stream moves quickly. I always comment 3-4 times a day and sometimes even more. Don’t worry if you don’t get any engagement on a post just move on to the next post. If you are not getting the response you desired then consider changing up the engagement offer or try a different time of day. Just remember to keep it fresh and update several times a day.
#5: Improve Your Facebook EdgeRank by Asking Users to Share

Don’t be afraid to ask for your fans to share or to click “like” especially if you are just starting out. Just know it takes some time for a page to gain momentum but if you stay consistent you will speed up the process.

Facebook EdgeRank basically comes down to content. You want to publish content that encourages engagement, through the users commenting, sharing and liking in order to have a killer Facebook Marketing system in place. Yes, Facebook has made it a little more difficult but it’s well worth the extra push to create engaging content when the results are an VERY active Facebook Fan Page.

As we celebrate and look forward to advancements in 2012 we pause for a moment to applaud and acknowledge the accomplishments of 2011.  We give thanks to endless opportunities available to us all and to our community for sharing yet another awesome year at MyLeadSystemPRO.

We opened 2011 with a collective fundraising effort totaling $20,825 raised for charity: water.  Through this effort MLSP Co-Founders and the MLSP community have provided enough for the organization to dig 4 wells around the world and provide clean drinking water to those without.  2012 will see the fruition of those efforts.

Each Wednesday MLSP invited the industry’s best of the best as guest presenters on our LIVE and free training webinars.   These Wednesday webinars total hundreds of hours of training and are available for our members in our Training Call Archives.  Details on these calls can be found on http://www.MLSP.com/weekly-webinars.

Throughout 2011 we continually update the back office to provide our membership community with the best internet marketing and training system ever, we added new system campaigns, provided top rate facebook fan page forms, motivational wakeup call podcasts, leadership coaching services, revamped marketing strategies, new affiliate products, MLSP store and more.

We introduced our community to newly formed Tribe Pro created by Staci & Ron Gauny to bring our members more online exposure.

We watched two MLSP Co-Founders, Norbert Orlewicz & Brian Fanale, speak at SEO Networker’s No Excuses Event held at The Palms, Las Vegas.  We look forward to everyone again at No Excuses in April of 2012 to be held at the new Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas.  Come well rested.

Our Mastermind Retreat 2011 was in sunny Cancun at a private villa for those desiring to take their business to the next level.  Laptops, pens and paper, flip flops, flip charts, flip cams, snorkels, chips, salsa, beer and margaritas rotated around as attendees received personal mentoring, fun-filled days and late nights building campaigns and receiving internet training.  MLSP leadership and attendees formed bonds and business relationships that continue to thrive.

2011 saw the incorporation of a Platinum membership package plus an expansion of leadership levels, now from L1-L7, where members can advance and receive even greater benefits from their marketing efforts.  What level would you like to achieve at the end of 2012:  L1 Rookie, L2 Knight, L3 Champion, L4 Leader, L5 Gladiator, L6 Warrior, or L7 Master?
